Login in to linux FTP Server from linux and windows machine
In my previous blog we have seen about how to install, configure and setup FTP server in linux. In this blog we are going to see how to login in to the FTP server from linux and windows machine.
To login in to FTP server in linux first open a command prompt. Then use the below command to login in to FTP Server.
The IP address should be an the FTP server IP address. If you give enter it will ask for username. The username can be anonymous or local user. If you give user name as anonymous no need to provide password just enter is enough because anonymous user dont have password. If you give local user name password is mandatory.

How to login to linux FTP server from windows machine
To login in to linux ftp server from windows machine we can use variety of FTP client tools. Filezilla is the most widely used FTP client. Install the Filezilla tool in your windows machine as a administrator.
Once the installation completed open the filezilla tool by double clicking it. In the top left side host box will be there it that add IP address of the FTP Server. Then provide FTP username and password in the username and password box. In the port box give 22 port number.
