Checking php installation using phpinfo() function

 

        The phpinfo () function will bring up a full profile of the PHP you are currently running, and display it in categorized tables for you to view. The Information  about current status of php. The information are like PHP version, php server information, OS version information, HTTP header, PHP License, PHP variables, Modules etc.,

 

 

Add the below entry to file and save it with the extension of filename.php. For example save the file with name test.php and place it /var/www/html default apache  web file location.

#cat > test.php

<?php
 phpinfo();
?>

Check the location of the test.php file

 

 

Edit your Apache configuration file like below

 

 Restart the Apache service to enable the edited configuration

 

Open your browser and check it with the below URL http://<yoursystem-IP>/test.php
